I began my editing career after graduating Syracuse University in 1990. At the same time, the Avid Media Composer came out with the first non-linear editing system began to revolutionize the industry. Subsequently, most of my education in non-linear editing was on-the-job.

Most projects we short form editing – commercials, marketing and promos for ad agencies, editorial boutiques and eventual a full time position at ABC prime-time promotions.

My first documentary project came in 2004 for the Discovery Channel, as an assistant editor on “Black Sky: The Race for Space,” which won the 2004 Peabody Award. I went on to be one of the editors for the sequel, “Black Sky: Winning the X-Prize.”

Over the next few years, I found a niche in bonus content and behind-the-scenes documentaries for the DVD releases of various Film and TV shows – new and vintage – for all the major studios (Fox, Sony, Lionsgate, Warner Brothers, and Disney to name a few). Some of my favorites include “My Dad Walt Disney: Diane Disney”, “The Light and the Dark: The Making of Face Off”, “The Making of World Trade Center, directed by Oliver Stone”.

Currently, the creative content landscape is versatile and filled with opportunity. I have experience in all of it… Social Media, Web Series, Documentaries, Sizzles and Promos. My strongest skills involve music cutting and comedic timing. Telling a story creatively, with rhythm and humor, is one of my favorite things to do.
